Izip Ag For Drivers Must Comply

From now on, there are three criteria drivers must comply to, before they can be installed without credentials.

The Microsoft fix is to contact the vendor to update the driver.

However, Windows 2003 Print Servers, which doesnt support Printer Aware, and therefore all network printer installs will require admin credentials.

Repeat this change for the other kernel version of the key, i.e.

Windows NT x86 version, then make the same change in the Windows NT x64 version of the key.

This will treat the driver as package aware, which means a CAB package will be created, including the inf and the catalog.

The package will be installed through setupapi.dll when installing the driver, validating that the catalog is trusted, and that hashes for all files are included in the catalog.

There for the driver will install for the user, without the need for admin credentials.

Izip Ag For Password Yet But

My Mac Book Air is new so I havent set a password yet but it knows my name.

Does anyone know If It has a default password or something like that.

You can choose not to use a password, and in some cases, you can just leave it blank when installing software or updates, but its VERY UNSAFE to do so.

Since OS10.7, OS X has Gatekeeper which prevents installations without a password from an admin account.
